Bias and Iphianassa had a daughter Anaxibia who married Pelias, to whom she bore Acastus and several daughters. According to Pausanias, Amythaon is the father of Bias and Melampus.〔 Their mother was Idomene, daughter of Pheres or Abas of Argos.
